About The Paw Promise
The Paw Promise is a nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to giving animals the second chances they deserve. We are rooted in compassion, community, and the belief that every animal—no matter their past—has the potential for a brighter future.
Founded in North Brunswick, New Jersey, our organization exists to create hope for animals who are abandoned, neglected, or at risk. Through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming, we work to ensure that every animal we help is treated with care, dignity, and love.
Why We Do What We Do
Too many animals face uncertain futures due to overcrowded shelters, limited resources, and unsafe living conditions. We created The Paw Promise to be part of the solution—to step in when help is needed most and advocate for animals who cannot advocate for themselves.
Our mission goes beyond rescue alone. We strive to educate, uplift, and support our community by promoting responsible pet ownership and compassion for all animals. Every life we touch reinforces our belief that small acts of kindness can create powerful change.

Meet The People Behind The Promise
The Paw Promise is guided by a dedicated board of individuals who share a passion for animal welfare and community impact. Together, our board works to ensure transparency, accountability, and thoughtful leadership as we grow.

Amanda founded The Paw Promise with a lifelong love for animals and a strong commitment to making a difference at the local level. As President, she leads the organization’s vision, outreach, and day-to-day operations. Amanda is deeply involved in every aspect of the rescue process and is dedicated to creating a compassionate, community-driven organization where animals always come first.
Elie plays a vital role in supporting the organization’s structure and operations. As Secretary, he assists with recordkeeping, organization, and administrative coordination to ensure that The Paw Promise runs smoothly and remains transparent in its efforts.
Elias oversees the financial health of The Paw Promise, ensuring that donations and funds are managed responsibly and ethically. His role helps guarantee that resources are used effectively to support rescue efforts, medical care, and ongoing animal needs.
Together, our board is united by a shared goal: to protect animals, strengthen our community, and uphold the promise we make to every animal we rescue.
